I Have Evidence!

When the pups are about four weeks old, I move them from the whelping crate into the puppy pen. At this age they're starting to toddle around and of course are growing bigger. I start out putting a bed, and mom's food and water. Later I add more.

Puppies are pretty good about not wanting to soil where they sleep. So once they are toddling around, they will usually walk off their bed to potty.

So then it's time to introduce the litter box. The litter boxes I use are the right size, that I can fit two end to end on the opposite side of the pen from the bed.

"Hey, what's this thing?"

*sniff, sniff*

And by the next day I have evidence that they're being used. :)

Yep, that's what that little dark speck is!

Poochon Puppy Pile!

Pure puppy sweetness!

Bunny

My sweet girl went to her new home yesterday. She has to be one of the sweetest Cavaliers ever, even though she could be pretty bossy with the other girl dogs. But, hey someone has to be top dog! And she couldn't have gotten a better home. She's going from an all boy house (except me, of course) to a family with three daughters:) I think she'll be quite pampered. In fact, I know she'll be. Her new mom told me she has a princess bed at home and one at work too. (She gets to go to work with her mom everyday! How's that for cool?!) And she's got pretty new food and water dishes, a beautiful collar and leash with her name tag.
I'm so happy when my dogs get such wonderful, loving homes!

Look, she's sticking her tongue out at me saying, "Neener, neener, I'm going to be a princess!" (said in a sing songy voice of course!)
